The artistry of Kaixin Dokter
At the age of 6, Kaixin Dokter began her piano journey. By the age of 9, she participated in the Haydn competition in the Netherlands, where she won the 1st prize and publieksprijs. During the Covid pandemic, Kaixin competed in several international online competitions, and achieved remarkable success.

Achievements
- 1st place at the XXVII Internationtal Chopin Festival from Mazovia, Poland
- 2nd place at the MusicMaestro competition, from the UK
- 4th place at the Paderewski-concours competition, from the U.S.A.
Following her success in online competitions, Kaixin went to compete in many prestigious events without age categories, including: Beethoven competition final from Chetham’s School of Music and Chopin competition final from Chetham’s School of Music in RNCM. She was also the finalist of The EPTA National Competition 2024, category 15 and under.
About Kaixin
Before Kaixin attended Chetham’s School of Music, she studied at Sweelinck Academie, Conservatorium van Amsterdam under Marianne Boer. At the age of 12, Kaixin continued her musical studies with piano and her second instrument, cello, at the UK’s largest specialist music school, Chetham’s school of Music, for 2 years. During this time, Kaixin received lessons from Ms. Kathryn Page and Dr. Murray McLachlan. Her dedication led her to passing the Piano Performance Diploma ATCL from Trinity College London with distinction.
Kaixin is currently studying at SvJT in The Hague, where she is taking lessons with Prach Boondiskulchok. She is also a pupil of Borys Fedorov. Additionally, she has received private instructions from Professor Dina Parakhina, Kathryn Stott, Peter Donohoe CBE, and the UK’s leading educationalist Paul Harris.
